Shaden Alkhalifah
THERAPIST, LMHC
I believe healing happens in relationships, so in our work together, I pay close attention to the space between us: what feels safe, what feels off, what feels alive. I move at your pace, attuned to your needs and your nervous system, and I aim to co-create a space where you can connect with your inner truth with care and curiosity.
My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that every part of you has a story to tell. Together, we might explore patterns that keep you feeling stuck or younger parts of yourself that carry shame or pain, parts that may leave you feeling disconnected from your present self.
I practice from a decolonial lens, centering your inner and ancestral wisdom alongside clinical knowledge. I don’t see therapy as a top-down model, but as a collaborative, liberatory process. This means holding you holistically, not as a set of symptoms, but as a full human shaped by culture, community, lineage, and lived experience.
As an Arab therapist, I hold deep respect for the ways our identities, families, and histories shape both our pain and our healing. I offer therapy in both Arabic and English, and I welcome all of who you are into the space we build together, your culture, your contradictions, your boundaries, and your longings.
